Membership Benefits

Online Membership Application
The Saskatchewan Physical Education Association is a professional growth network affiliated with the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation. Its purpose is to improve physical education in the province of Saskatchewan. The council produces the SPEA newsletter On The Move, which is emailed to all members on a monthly basis.
SPEA membership includes:
  • Joining a collective voice that advocates for quality Physical Education provincially. 
  • Emailed copy of On The Move Newsletter on the 1st of each month 
  • Receive information on the SPEA Conference and be eligible for Professional Development assistance for the SPEA Conference
  • Be kept informed about the many SPEA programs, services and workshop opportunities
  • Receive important news and events via our email system
  • Be entitled to borrow our resources on four week rotations  – “Short on Space?”, “Disc Golf/Ultimate Disc”,  “Moving To Inclusion”, "Youth Leadership", "Vitamin "N"ature", First Nations, Metis & Inuit (FNMI)", "FitKit", "Circus Arts", "Canada 150", "Sidewalk Stencils" and "Small and Multi"
  • Receive answers about P.E. curriculum upon request
Membership in the Saskatchewan Physical Education Association is open to anyone with a professional interest in the field of physical education.
Membership fee is $25.00/year
(retired teacher $15.00  and students free) commencing on the  month of application.
